2015 SALARY ORDINANCE

Pursuant to I.C. 36-1-4-15, the Town Council for the Town of Leo- Cedarville, Indiana hereby fixes the level of compensation for appointed officers and employees.

TOWN COUNCIL:   Effective January 1, 2015, the council members of the Town of Leo-Cedarville, other than the Council President, shall be compensated with a salary of $6,214.00 annually.

The President of the council shall be compensated with a base salary of $8,443.00 annually.

* All Council are Retirement Benefit Eligible.

CLERK TREASURER:   Effective January 1, 2015, the Town Clerk-Treasurer shall be compensated with a base salary of $40,785.00 annually.

TOWN MANAGER:   Effective January 1, 2015, the Town Manager shall be compensated with a base salary of $52,738.00 annually.

$5,273.80 (10% of base salary) shall be contributed to the Town Manager’s deferred compensation plan (457) annually regardless of employee contributions.
Additionally, HSA Benefits, Annual maximum allowable family HSA contributions permitted by law of $6,650.00.

MAINTENANCE:   Effective January 1, 2015, the Town Maintenance Employee position will receive an hourly rate of $19.42 per hour.

BILLING CLERK:   Effective January 1, 2015, the Town Billing Clerk will receive an hourly rate of $13.29 per hour.

PART-TIME MAINTENANCE:   Effective January 1, 2015, Part Time Maintenance position will receive an hourly rate of $13.33 per hour.

PART-TIME:   All other employees hired on a part-time temporary basis will receive an hourly rate as determined by the board governing the fund in which the rate will be expensed.

* RETIREMENT BENEFITS:   The Town of Leo-Cedarville will match contributions of any full-time or salaried participant to the Town’s deferred compensation plan of up to a maximum of 10% of the participant’s annual salary or annual hourly base pay, excluding overtime pay, as set forth in this ordinance. Matching funds shall be deposited at the direction of the employee to either their 457 or 401(a) deferred compensation plan account.

The provisions of all other ordinances in conflict with the provisions hereof are no further in force or effect and are hereby repealed.
