2011 SALARY ORDINANCE

Editor’s Note:   This ordinance is VOID. It has been replaced by a more current salary ordinance.

Pursuant to I.C. 36-1-4-15, the Town Council for the Town of Leo-Cedarville, Indiana, hereby fixes the level of compensation for appointed officers and employees.

TOWN COUNCIL: Effective January 1, 2011, the council members of the Town of Leo-Cedarville, other than the Council President, shall be compensated with a salary of $5,990.00 annually.

The President of the Council shall be compensated with a salary of $7,065.00 annually.

* All Council are Retirement Benefit Eligible.

CLERK TREASURER: Effective January 1, 2011, the Town Clerk-Treasurer shall be compensated with a salary of $34,160.00 annually.

* Retirement Benefit Eligible.

TOWN ADMINISTRATOR: Effective January 1, 2011, the Town Administrator shall be compensated with a salary of $27,854.16 annually.

$2,785.00 (10% of base salary) shall be contributed to the Town Administrator’s deferred compensation plan (457) annually regardless of employee contributions.
Additionally, Health Benefits will be awarded to the Town Administrator position up to an annual total of $7,800.00. Benefits to include health insurance premium payments (coverage to be selected by the employee), and contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA) in the insured employee’s name.

MAINTENANCE: Effective January 1, 2011, the Town Maintenance Employee position carries the rate of $17.29 per hour.

Health Benefits will be awarded to the Town Maintenance position up to an annual total of $9,869.77 (per 9/1/09 minutes). Benefits to include health insurance premium payments (coverage to be selected by the employee), and contributions to a Health Savings Account (HAS) in the insured employee’s name.

BILLING CLERK: Effective January 1, 2011, the Town Billing Clerk position carries the rate of $14.41 per hour.

PART TIME: All other employees hired on a part-time temporary basis will receive an hourly rate as determined by the board governing the fund in which the rate will be expensed.

* RETIREMENT BENEFITS: The Town of Leo-Cedarville will match contributions of any full-time or salaried participant to the Town’s deferred compensation plan of up to a maximum of 10% of any full time or salaried participant’s annual salary as set forth in this ordinance. Matching funds shall be deposited at the direction of the employee to either their 457 or 401(a) deferred compensation account.

The provisions of all other ordinances in conflict with the provisions hereof are no further in force or effect and are hereby repealed.
