AN ORDINANCE FOR THE CREATION OF A SOLID WASTE SERVICES FUND

WHEREAS, the Town Council of Leo-Cedarville contracts with a single entity for the collection of residential waste within it’s corporate limits; and

WHEREAS, the Town Council of Leo-Cedarville has chosen to begin billing residents for the collection of residential waste within the Town beginning in January 2009 as an itemized charge on the Town’s Stormwater Utility bill; and

WHEREAS, the revenue generated by such charge must be accounted for and receipted into a separate fund in compliance with the guidelines established by the Indiana State Board of Accounts,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of Leo-Cedarville, Indiana, that the Town Council of Leo-Cedarville hereby creates a Solid Waste Services Fund that shall be used solely for the purpose of depositing fees as itemized and charged on the Town’s established stormwater utility bill.
