ORDINANCE 2005-01 OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A “LONG TERM EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND” WITHIN THE TOWN OF LEO-CEDARVILLE
WHEREAS, IC 36 ___________ authorizes the Town Council of Leo-Cedarville to establish a long term equipment replacement fund to be used in conjunction with the yard waste recycling program that has been established for the town.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Leo-Cedarville, Indiana:
A. Creation of Fund: There is hereby established a “Long Term Equipment Replacement Fund” to receive proceeds deemed for such purpose, received from the town’s yard waste recycling program.
B. Purpose of Fund: The funds on deposit in the “Long Term Equipment Replacement Fund” may be used solely for the purpose of maintaining operational equipment used in conjunction with the town’s yard waste recycling program.
C. Expenditures: Accounts payable vouchers must be filed and approved in the regular legal manner before any expenditures are made from this specific fund.
D. This ordinance shall become effective upon its passage and upon its execution by the Town Executive (i.e. Town Council President) as attested by the Clerk-Treasurer.
Passed and adopted by the Town Council of the Town of Leo-Cedarville, Indiana on this 15th day of March, 2005.
