In response to safety guidelines published by the Indiana Governor, the Indiana Department of Health, and the Allen County Department of Homeland Security, the Town of Leo-Cedarville is taking the following actions to help slow the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19):

  1. The Leo-Cedarville Town Hall will be closed to the public through March 31, 2020.  Town employees will still be working, but employees able to work from home are being asked to telecommute.  Anyone wishing to conduct Town business during this time may contact the Town employees as follows:

 Patrick Proctor, Town Manager
(260) 452-9093

Amy Rekeweg, Office Administrator
(260) 627-6321 ext. 2

Stephanie Kirksey, Parks Administrator
(260) 445-2091

  1. The Leo-Cedarville Town Parks will be closed to the public through the end of March. All public facilities, including public restrooms are closed, during this time.  The Park Pavilions will be unavailable for rental during March.  Any existing rentals will be cancelled and refunds will be given.  Use of park trails and playground equipment will be at your own risk.

  1. The Leo-Cedarville Town Council meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. is, at this time, still going to occur.  The Council intends to make a series of motions to pay monthly invoices, contractual pay applications, and take other necessary action to complete other essential business only. While this meeting is open to the public, we are asking that if you attend,  keep a 6-foot radius from any other individual at the meeting.  Persons exhibiting flu-like symptoms, who have been exposed to the virus, and persons in high risk groups as defined by the CDC and Indiana Department of Health should avoid coming to the meeting.  It is the intent to have this meeting be very quick, and to take care of the most essential items only.  The Town of Leo-Cedarville is trying to limit possible exposure for all parties involved and by keeping the numbers of people low we can all benefit from this preventative action.

  1. Further guidance is expected from the Indiana Governor’s Office in the near future regarding public meetings, and the Town will update this notice as additional information and guidance is gained.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience during this time.  The Town of Leo-Cedarville encourages all people to follow the guidelines published by the Indiana Department of Health,, and the United States Center for Disease Control,
